Me: [Strolling down the sidewalk, camera hanging from the strap around my neck, as I cross the same guy's path for the second time in roughly fifteen minutes.]
Guy: “Hey, what are you doing walking around with that camera?”
Me: “Taking pictures.”
Guy: [Clearly surprised by my answer.] “Why? Pictures of what?”
Me: [Surprised that he's surprised that someone walking around with a camera is taking pictures.] “Nothing in particular. Just killing time.”
Guy: “Right.” [Mumbles something else, continues to give me the stink eye as he walks down the opposite side of the street and into his front door.]
Me: [Annoyed that this clown disturbed my walk.]
I’m relatively new to amateur photography, and this was my first such encounter. Unfortunately, I have a sinking feeling that I might be in for a good bit of this crap as time goes on. Can’t wait.
